Rosy and Ed will outline the club’s journey from private ownership back into community ownership and the challenges they have faced on the way.

The initial vision needed serious negotiation tactics to make it reality and the team faced a number of difficulties in managing the take-over finances. The next step, to make Lewes FC the sort of club that did something different, steered the decision to be an equality club, which similarly has meant negotiating with the FA and keeping everyone on side.

These changes have required a whole new business model, which the board have had to learn on the job. But it has also fuelled the chance to put out genuinely feel good PR and grow, even on a limited budget.
